St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Palai, Kerala was established in 2002 by the Diocese of Palai. Authors should submit their abstracts and full papers online. Easy Chair manuscript submission should be done for initial submission of manuscripts and review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on easy chair to log in.
To submit your papers, login to the submission Web page for AIES2021 in Easy Chair as
Kindly include name of authors, affiliation and contact number at the bottom of abstract. Submission to Easy Chair can follow any of the standard template used for Elsevier publications. However, submissions to the journals must follow the paper templates.
You will have to create an Easy Chair account if you don't already have one.

- Submissions must include title, abstract, author affiliation with email address and keywords.(while selecting keywords for the manuscript, one of the keyword should be the proposed track or sub-track of the AIES2021 conference)
- Paper should be submitted as per template which is available on conference webpage.
- The paper should not contain any special headers or footers.
- Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference.
- Short papers are an opportunity to present with preliminary or interim results.
- All papers will undergo double blind review process.
- The paper length should not exceed 8 pages. However, the authors can extend the number of pages by paying an additional page charge.
- Literature reviews/survey papers shall be considered if they present a new perspective or clearly benefit the field. To be published, such papers must go beyond a review of the literature to define the field in a new way or highlight exciting new technologies or areas of research.
- The organizers of this conference regard plagiarism as a serious professional misconduct. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism check using URKUND Software.
- Manuscripts suffering more than 20% similarity score will be examined and those that are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/withdrawn without a formal review.
- Copyright violation is viewed seriously and authors are encouraged to request for permission from the copyright holder if images/tables or text are reused from other sources in your paper. Always give due credit and references in your paper.
- A submission SHOULD NOT be intended to get reviews from the Program Committee for the sole purpose of improving the quality of manuscript. A submission implies that the author intends to ultimately register the paper upon favorable response from the conference organizers. Withdrawal of accepted papers are not solicited and such papers shall not be submitted elsewhere without significant changes or improvements.
- No author may contribute more than 2 papers in single conference proceedings.

Publications
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Only accepted and presented papers in AIES2021 will be proceeded for publication in Materials Today: Proceedings – a new journal specializing in the publication of conference proceedings. Materials Today: Proceedings provides the engineering community with a fast and flexible route to publication of research works presented at scientific conferences. All papers must be original, and within the scope of the conference and peer-review is mandatory.
